This blog aims to create an online platform for teachers of languages for specific purposes for sharing ideas, experiences and expertise with peers.

It was set up by the Slovene Association of LSP Teachers but hopefully it will serve the needs of the wider LSP teacher community. Therefore, LSP teachers — regardless from where they are from — are welcome to sign up as contributors and co-create this blog’s contents.

The Slovene Association of LSP Teachers was founded in 1997 as a professional, non-profit and non-political organisation. Members are teachers working in tertiary and secondary education or private language schools. There are currently about 60 members.

The Association aims to promote professional growth of LSP teachers, introduce new approaches in the teaching and testing of LSP, developing teaching materials as well as using information technology for teaching purposes.

The Association publishes an online journal called Scripta Manent and keeps a blog for its members in Slovene.
